AI Tools for Educators
I'm curating a list of AI tools that I think might be useful in my classroom or yours.
Eduaide.AI
This site contains a suite of tools sorted by content area that allow teachers to create supplemental materials for class. It also allows a teacher to paste in student writing and generate feedback for the student. There are tools here to generate ranked lists, use primary sources, generate content-specific SEL activities and more. It's certainly worth exploring, especially if you need a custom-generated text.
CAUTION: This site may be biased toward the "sage on the stage" paradigm.
Currently (7.2023) in Open Beta stage--will it cost in the future?

Questionwell.org
This site generates multiple choice questions for any text, webpage, or video you provide it with. The questions can be exported in a variety of formats including Google forms and other formats compatible with many popular quiz websites.
CAUTION: This site may generate questions with incorrect answers. This site may be biased toward the idea that comprehension means being able to answer a series of questions from a "text."
Currently (7.2023) There is a free option and then a paid version that includes access to short answer and fill-in-the-blank questions and the ability to use longer text passages.

diffit.me
This site takes any text (either copy and paste or URL) and will adjust it so that it is appropriate for the grade level you select. It can be used to differentiate texts so that all students in a class have the opportunity to engage with the same content at their own reading levels.
CAUTION: I haven't seen enough yet to know what cautions to offer.
Currently (7.2023) The site is beta. An account is required to use most functions.
